StageIt is a live streaming and ticketing platform that gives performers and fans the ability to connect through authentic, intimate, and unique shows.
StageIt is a live streaming and ticketing platform that gives performers and fans the ability to connect through authentic, intimate, and unique shows.
StageIt is for both performers and fans. Performers can connect with their fans, showcase their talents, and generate revenue. Fans can enjoy shows from their favorite performers, discover new ones, support them, and interact in an authentic and intimate setting.
A performer creates a show, sets the ticket price, invites their fans, and performs. It's that simple.
Fans buy a ticket and enjoy the show. In-show gamified tipping and rewards system make it possible for fans to support performers further.
StageIt uses “Notes” as the platform’s currency (10 Notes = $1 USD). Fans use “Notes” to buy tickets and tip performers during the show.
Note: We recommend both performers and fans use the latest version of Google Chrome and have a stable internet connection for the best experience.
Notes are StageIt's currency. 1 Note = 10¢, 10 Notes = $1, 100 Notes = $10, etc. When purchasing Notes on StageIt, there is a minimum of 50 notes ($5 USD) per transaction.
1. Once logged in, in the top right corner click "Buy Notes".
2. Enter the amount of notes you'd like to purchase. The minimum transaction is 50 notes ($5 USD).
3. After clicking continue, you can choose to pay with a credit card or PayPal account.
From the show page, click the green “Get Ticket” button. If you have enough Notes in your account, they will be used for the purchase. If your current account balance is too low, you will be prompted to purchase more notes at that time. Once the purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
1. Make sure you're logged in with the correct StageIt account.
2. Click on "Your Account" in the menu, then click "Shows you're going to".
3. From this page, click the "Go To Show" button for the show you're attending.
Yes! To purchase additional notes click on the “Buy Notes” or “## Notes” (the amount of Notes in your Stageit account) link in the upper right hand corner of the page. Then, enter your payment info and click Purchase.
1. Once logged in, enter the show you would like to gift a ticket to.
2. Under the green “Get Ticket” button, click the link reading “Gift a ticket to a friend!”.
3. Enter your name in the “Your Name” field.
4. Enter the recipient information on the “Recipient” field. If the recipient already has a StageIt account, you can begin typing their username until the correct one appears. If the recipient doesn’t have an account yet, you can select to use their email address instead. (When using the email method, both you and your recipient will receive a confirmation email with the redemption code)
5. On the right hand side, make sure the recipient is receiving the correct amount of Notes.
6. You are welcome to add an optional message, then click “Continue to Checkout”.
Fans that can't afford a ticket to a show can put themselves on the hitchhiker list to allow generous fans the ability to purchase tickets on their behalf. If you want to pick up a ticket for a fan, you are not giving up your own ticket, just "bringing a friend" to the show with you. Please note, hitchhiking doesn't always guarantee entry to a show. To ensure entry to a show, you will need to purchase a ticket.
Note: Giving hitchhikers a ride contributes to your top supporter ranking in the same way tipping does.
To view a show on StageIt, you must be logged into your StageIt account.
Go to the show page. If you have already purchased a ticket, the stream window will say “You Have A Ticket” (if you see “Get Ticket” instead, please make sure you are logged in).
The stream will begin at the show’s start time on this page. We suggest entering the show page a few minutes before start time.
In most cases the video will automatically start, however it sometimes requires refreshing the page or manually clicking play. Most playback issues can be fixed by refreshing the page.
1. Make sure you're logged in with your StageIt account.
2. Click on "Your Account" in the menu, then click "Shows you're going to".
3. From this page, click the "Go To Show" button for the show you're attending.
StageIt currently supports viewing on computers and mobile devices (iOS / Android).
To view a performance on a TV we suggest using an HDMI cable from a computer, chromecasting your web browser window (for TVs that support this feature), AirPlaying from a computer, or Screen Mirroring from a phone.
On the right of the stream window, you can type messages for both the performer and other viewers to see.
There are two ways to tip.
1. Click one of the preset amounts in the bottom left corner below the video stream.
2. Enter a custom amount and click the green “Tip” button.
Note: If you don’t have the desired amount of Notes (10 Notes = $1 USD) in your account, clicking the tip button will allow you to buy more Notes.
Artists can choose to provide rewards to their top supporters. If you’re attending a show with an artist offering rewards, you can see the current top supporter prizes by scrolling down below the StageIt player. When you tip, you will see your ranking among other attendees near the bottom center of the StageIt player. Please note that once the show is over, all top supporter rankings are frozen, though you can still tip if you would like. Also, note that what you spent on the ticket plus tips contribute to your top supporter ranking.
While you can always watch StageIt shows on your TV by connecting your Laptop using an HDMI cable, many casting devices also work!
Casting to an Amazon Firestick is available for Android devices with Android OS 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or later and select Windows devices. Apple iOS and macOS do not support casting to Firestick.
To cast to an Amazon Firestick:
Press and hold down the Home Button on your Firestick remote.
When a menu appears on your screen, navigate to the “Mirroring” icon and click on it.
Note: If mirroring is not working, make sure your device and your Firestick are within 30 feet (10 meters) of each other and connected to the same WiFi network.
Alternatively, you can use a Firestick browser app like Mozilla Firefox or Amazon Silk to log into your account at StageIt.com and view your show within the browser.
If you own a mobile Apple device with iOS 11 or later, you can mirror your screen to an Apple TV (or a supported device with Apple TV built in).
Turn on the Apple TV or device with Apple TV built in, and ensure it is on the same wifi network as your iOS device.
Open Control Center on your iOS device.
For the iPhone X or later or iPad with iPadOS 13 or later: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
For the iPhone 8 or earlier or iOS 11 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
Tap on the “screen mirroring” option.
Select the supported Apple TV device you’d like to mirror to.
Look for the four digit code on your supported Apple TV device, and enter this code on your iOS device.
Your TV will reflect the same screen orientation and aspect ratio as your iOS device. You will also be able to adjust the volume from your iOS device.
When you want to stop mirroring your iOS device, open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring. Then tap Stop Mirroring.
Download the latest version of Google chrome
Open Google Chrome and navigate to the desired StageIt show page you wish to cast to your device.
Click the Chromecast icon in the lower right corner of the video player.
A window will appear with the devices on your network. Select your Chromecast device.
You should now see the show you are viewing displayed full-screen on your Chromecast device. You will not see tipping options or the chat, but those can still be viewed on the device you are casting from.
The “Become A Performer” option is available on the navigation bar, if you have not already requested to become one. Once you click this link, you’ll now be able to host your own shows.
There is no cost to sign up as a performer, to create a show, or to perform. The earnings from the show (tickets + tips) are split 73% to the performer and 27% to StageIt. Performers keep all of their portion of the earnings. StageIt pays credit card and PayPal processing fees, royalties, and all operating expenses for hosting the show.
Soundchecks allow performers to test their stream to ensure any issues are worked out before the actual show. Once you’ve upgraded your account to a performer account, you can create a soundcheck by navigating to Performer Tools >> Create a Soundcheck.
We strongly recommend that a soundcheck is performed before every show, and any time anything is changed in your setup (software or hardware).
Read here for further information on Soundchecking before your show.
Navigate to Performer Tools >> Create a Show.
Note: Make sure your account is upgraded to Performer.
All shows are 30 minutes, with the additional 20 minute encore (50 minute total showtime). Performers can decide to end their show any time during the first 30 minutes of the show or during the encore.
After your show length clock runs to 00:00, the encore section will automatically begin. The performer does not need to do anything for the encore to start. Encore lasts for 20 minutes.
Note: In the event you are running out of time and need that extra 20 seconds to say thank you or good bye, or if you need an extra 1 or 2 minutes to finish the last song you started, you can now extend the encore by 5 minutes. This is only possible during the final 5 minutes of the encore and can only be done once.

If you feel you need a refund for some reason, please contact support@stageit.com and provide a detailed explanation for your refund request.
Try refreshing your page. This fixes the problem most of the time.

This means that the performer is not currently broadcasting. It is normal to see this briefly at the beginning of any StageIt show as the performer is starting up their broadcast.
If you are seeing this during the show, it may mean the performer is having technical difficulties or has decided to end their show.
If you are still experiencing difficulties after trying the advice in this section, please email support@stageit.com with a description of the issue, including what device and web browser you were using at the time.
No. Anyone can perform on StageIt using a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and microphone. Many people use the built in webcam and microphone on their laptop to get started.
Yes! After you have plugged in your USB microphone, make sure you select it under “Audio/Video Controls” in your StageIt show or soundcheck. If it does not appear, restarting your computer may solve the issue.
Yes! The easiest way to do this is to plug the output of your professional audio device into a single channel of a USB audio interface. Please make sure that it is plugged into the first audio input on the interface, as StageIt’s in browser broadcaster can only take in one input.
If you would like to perform in stereo, please consider using a program like OBS. You can see a guide for this in the second half of our “How To Soundcheck” page.
Yes, most webcams will work easily with StageIt.
For other cameras, like DSLRs and camcorders, you will need to find a compatible capture card to connect to your computer and use that with a program like OBS. You can see a guide for using OBS with StageIt in the second half of our “How To Soundcheck” page.
